Lesson outcomes, Years 7 – 12:

  • Students reflect on the purpose, and benefits of the blessed month of Ramadan and understand the significance of Ramadan for themselves and others.
  • Students review some of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW around Ramadan and fasting.
  • Students reflect on their Ramadan goals.

“Wonderous is the affair of the believer for there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If they are happy, then they give thanks Allah and thus there is good for them, and if they are harmed, then they show patience and thus there is good for them.” (Source: Sahih Muslim 2999).
